Theodore R Dotson

Mr. Theodore Dotson passed away November 24, 2020. He was born on November 19, 1930 in McCool, MS to Roosevelt and Bertha L. Hemphill Dotson. Many knew him around the community as Ted. He loved outdoors and there was no thing that he wouldn't try his hand at. He loved life and making people laugh. He met and married Cloteal Anderson Dotson of French Camp, MS. Their union was blessed with 6 children. Ted worked many years to raise his family, even owning his own pulpwood business. He is preceded in death by his parents Roosevelt and Bertha Lee Hemphill Dotson three brothers, James Jimesha Dotson, Wade Harvey and Henry Bernice Dotson, two sisters Ruthie Mae Ferguson and Mildred Virginia Dobbs Junior and one great great grandchild. He leaves to cherish his memories his six children. Jerry Dotson (Ora) Kathy Dotson, Dorotha Dotson Callahan (Roosevelt) Clifford Dotson (Dolores) Lynn Dotson Lehr (Mitchell) and Larita Dotson Bowman (Jermaine). His grandchildren: Dontreil, Derek, Jamakeya, Darius, Lawanda, Daryl, Brontae, Crystal, Austin, Bryan, Matthew, Chastitee, Dymand, Hayley, Marie and Riley and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
