Robert Bob Miller

Mr. Robert B. Miller, affectionately known to almost everyone as R.B., was born on June 8, 1927, to Buck and Emma Miller of Louisville, MS. Until his passing, R.B. was a proud and active member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville, MS. He loved all activities outdoors, and he loved working with his hands. Hunting, fishing, and farming were his favorites.

He departed this life at his home on Monday evening, December 18, 2023. He was surrounded by those who loved him most. R.B. was proceeded in death by his parents, Buck and Emma Miller; his wife, Bettie Miller; his son, Norris “Decky” Miller; his grandson, Ronell Miller, Sr.; siblings, Ossie B. Davis, Pearlie Mae Coleman, Willie Lee Miller, Buster Miller, Sam Miller, Cora Lee McMillan, and Annie Mae Wilson. R.B. was the last link to his sibling’s chain.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, one daughter; Ometha ‘Pee Wee’ Doss (George) of Bowling Green, KY, two sons; Terry Miller, (Ida Pearl), Rufus ‘Neal’ Miller (Barbara) all of Louisville, MS; sisters-in-laws: Georgena, Jeraldine, and Janice (Ms. Turner) all of Louisville, MS; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of special and loving nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Special acknowledgment

R.B.’s life was indeed a blessing. He will be treasured, by his children, especially his oldest son who was at his side daily. He will forever be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Take your rest now, R.B.
