Obituary

Jimmie G. Hannah was born on January 1, 1942, to Mrs. Icy Lee Wilkerson in Choctaw County. He received his education at Choctaw County High School and he was later employed with Hackney Company for the majority of his working career. In July 1965, Mr. Jimmie Hannah was united in holy matrimony to Ms. Bobby Jean Smith. He later joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a chairman of the Deacons Board & Sunday school Superintendent until his health declined. He leaves to mourn his passing a wife of 53 years, Bobbie Hannah, and mother Icy Lee Wilkerson of Moss Point, MS. Mr. Jimmie also leaves to cherish his memories 4 sons and 1daughter. Jimmie D. Hannah, Clarence Hannah, Tracy Hannah, Alton Hannah, and Marcus Head; 3 grandchildren, Shantelle and Anthony Hannah, Jimmarin Woodard, and honorary grandchildren Santana Woodard, Lamar "CJ", and Ketieon "Bambam", 2 sisters, Mrs. Helen Radford (Marvin) and Phyllis Matthews; 2 brothers, Marvel Hannah and James Wilkerson (Valarie); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
