Obituary

Hozell Fair was born to the late Ezell and Marie Fair on September 8, 1941. He departed this life On May 22, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ivora Mae Fair; two brothers, Freddie Lee Fair and Theodis Fair; one sister, Mazell Cooper; and one daughter in law, Martha Fair. Hozell joined Millspring M.B. Church at an early age. He married Ivora Mae Johnson Fair and was blessed with seven children, one preceded him in death, Ladell Fair. Hozell leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Cathleen Johnson of Starkville, MS, Brenda Fair of Weir, MS, Jewell Fair and Rena (Jimmie) McNeal of McCool, MS, Isabella (Nell) Nicks of Huntsville, AL, and Michael Fair of Kosciusko, MS; A special friend Ms. Helen Dotson, who preceded him in death: brothers and sisters, Worlie (Dorothy) Fair, Cora Fair and  Elmer (Catherine) Fair all of Weir, MS, Marie Pirtle of Ackerman, MS, Flora (Sherman) McCain, Dora Fair, Nathaniel Fair, and Lee Fair all of Washington DC, and Laura Simpson of St. Louis, MO; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great- grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
