Edna Bennett

Edna Bennett was born February 15, 1953, in Winston County MS to Mr. Pete Bennett and Mrs. Ida Mae Bennett. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Edna graduated Class of 1971 from Louisville High school. She was always known as a trendsetter who was full of energy and always the life of the party. Edna had a passion for fashion, traveling and socializing. She moved to the California Bay area in 1976, where she resided until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers William Bennett and Johnny Ray Bennett. Edna leaves to cherish her memory forever, her children, Kerry Bennett (Denise) of Savannah, GA and Latasha Varnado of Oakland, CA; her grandchildren Kenyatt Smalls, Kaelen Bennett, and Markarie Bennett of Savannah, GA her brothers Pete Bennett and Jerry Bennett of Louisville, Mississippi; her sisters Christine Coleman and Frankie Johnson of Louisville, Mississippi, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
