Eardell Parker was born to Lillie Mae and Remo Eiland on May 6, 1935, in Winston County. She was raised in the Highpoint community where she confessed and gave her life to Christ at an early age. She later joined Faith Tabernacle Church of Louisville, Mississippi.
Eardell worked a brief time as a waitress. She loved the outdoor life, fishing, building things, and especially being a homemaker. Eardell departed this life on April 15, 2023, at the home of her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Mae, and Remo Eiland, two sons, Lenorris Johnson, Bonnell Johnson, three husbands, Pete Mackzine, Mr. P.L. Johnson, and Mr. Willie D. Parker, three brothers, Ozzie Glenn Eiland, Lemar Eiland, Clarence Eiland, and a sister, Dorothy Ivy.
Eardell leaves to cherish her memories, her four daughters, Ethel Hardnett of Ackerman, Mississippi, Ruby N. Johnson of Louisville, Mississippi, Malaida Linda (Willie Joe) White of Louisville, Mississippi, and Penny G. Johnson of Ackerman, Mississippi, three sons, Therodore Johnson, P.L. Johnson, Jr., Floyd D. Johnson, all of Louisville, Mississippi, an ex husband, Roy Stewart of Louisville, MS, three sisters, Mary Jane Quinn of Tupelo, Mississippi, Loisteen Patrick of Eupora, Mississippi, Lillie Marie Oats (Willie Welch), of Louisville, MS, five sisters-in-law, Ophia Eiland of East Saint Louis, Illinois, Essie Warfield, of Chicago, Illinois, Hattie William, Williette Hill, both of Toledo, Ohio, and Ollie J. Eiland of Louisville, MS, a special friend that's been like a daughter, Amiza Quinn, a good neighbor, Bettey Yarbrough, twenty-six children, sixty-eight great-grandchildren, forty-six great, great-grandchildren, host of nieces, and nephews and close friends.
