Catherine Hunt

Catherine Hunt was born on March 14,1930 to the late Tom and Sally Hunt in Louisville, MS. At an early age she joined Ebenezer Church of God in Christ where she served the faithfully until God called her into His Heavenly Vineyard. She served in numerous positions including church mother, usher, choir member, church secretary and finance committee.  She proceeded in death by (2) children: Effie Hunt and Jerry Hunt, (1) granddaughter: Veronica Knott, (6) brothers and (3) sisters. On Saturday, September 10, 2016, she departed her life at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She leaves to cherish her memories to her (4) daughters: Rose (Lamar) Ashford of south Bend, IN, Mae Miller of Weir, MS. Dorothy (Charles) Whitfield, and Joyce Hunt both of Louisville, MS. Her (4) sons; Terry (Betty) Hunt, Dickey Hunt, Edward Hunt of Louisville, MS. and Michael (Florence) Hunt, of South Bend, IN. (1) brother: Tommie Joe Hunt of Gary, IN. (1) sister: Willie Mae Dotson of Durant, MS. Her (32) grandchildren (10) great-grandchildren and (5) great-great grandchildren. Her (2) very special friends: Frances Miller buddy  who made sure she had a hot meal on Sundays and Larry Pruitt of Mathison, Ms.
